Our Y12 Maths students had a brilliant day taking part in an advanced maths challenge day organised in conjunction with Liverpool University and hosted by Queens Park High.

They worked with trainee maths teachers from Chester University and A Level students from all over West Cheshire and the Wirral.

Two teams managed to answer the tie break problem correctly so were overall winners. Some of our students were on both winning teams: Oisin and Matthew on one, Michaela, Tom and Isaac on the other. There were 8 teams in total and about 40 students from 5 schools, so they did really well!
