Year 10 engaged in a school based one day experience of the work place as part of their Careers program.

Eight different industry representatives visited our school working with small groups of Year 10 students giving them a first hand experience of the type of work they would experience in their specific industry. We were lucky to have the following organisations attend, setting bespoke project briefs for the groups to complete over the day.

Throughout the day the students worked on and developed their employability skills including communication, teamwork, digital skills, organisation and leadership just to mention a few. On completion of each of the brief the students had present their action plans and resolutions to the brief to the rest of the group and were then given direct feedback from the employer.
