Following some quality audition heats, our school Pubic Speaking Champion this year is Aymon Han from 12Catherine.
Aymon will represent the school at the Catenians’ competition at Liverpool Hope University on Friday 24th March.
His topic:
“A country’s policy on educating girls impacts its political, social and economic outcomes. ”
Year 12 student Georgie Williams was a worthy runner-up, Karol Gibaudi and Andrew De Guzman were excellent participants.
Bradley Beach, also from Y12 has been selected for the UNIQ programme, the University of Oxford’s access programme for state school students. He will be attending a residential course at Oxford in the summer, and is aiming to apply for Engineering at Oxford. Well done Bradley!
