The Catholic High School Chester is committed to ensuring that candidates are fully briefed on the exam and assessment process in place in the centre and are made aware of the required JCQ / awarding body instructions and information for candidates.
After February half term, every student who is entered for an external exam will be issued with their individual exam timetable along with a copy of the Candidate Exam Handbook. The handbook contains answers to frequently asked questions, however, if you still have a query after reading it please contact the Exams Officer, Mrs Shaw.
Please keep the exam handbook in a safe place as you may need to refer to it during the exam season or around results day.
Exam Contingency Day 2020
Please click here to read this article from Ofqual explaining why all students must be available from the date of their first exam up to and including Wednesday 24th June 2020.
All exam results are provisional until you receive your certificates. We recommend you collect them when notified as failure to do so may result in you having to pay for replacements in the future.
You will be notified via email of the date to collect your certificates, this is usually in the November following your summer exams.
If you do not collect your certificates they will be kept for a period of 5 years from the date of issue, after which, JCQ allow us to confidentially dispose of them. Please click here to read their statement.
