School Caretaker Full time Permanent
Salary: £15,375 to £16,491 pa + membership of the local government pension scheme
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday 6.30am to 3.00pm and 12.30pm to 9.00pm (possible additional hours available)
As Caretaker, you will carry out simple repairs, set up rooms, and undertake portering duties, as well as looking after the day-to-day upkeep of the site, unlocking and locking the school and grounds, keeping up-to-date with the maintenance logs and assisting the staff with general caretaker duties as required. The role includes alternate weeks of an early and late shift. The ideal candidate would have previous experience in a similar environment, or maintenance work, but full training will be given to the right candidate. A driving licence is also required.

At the Catholic High School, Chester we offer two fortnight periods of work experience at different times of the academic year. The first begins on Monday 17th October 2016 and ends on Friday 28th October 2016. The second period will begin on Monday 5th June 2017 and end on Friday 16th June 2017.
