National Apprenticeship Service

The Apprenticeship Support and Knowledge for Schools (ASK) project has been commissioned by the National Apprenticeship Service, part of the Education Skills Funding Agency and DfE, to support the Government’s target of achieving 3 million apprenticeship starts by 2020. Here at The Catholic High School we have provided a range of opportunities for our students to gain more information about apprenticeships and technical qualifications and as a result we have recently received recognition for this work from the Department for Education.

As students in year 11 will be focusing on their exams, career options and getting ready for the world of work the ASK team are still actively booking in visits to assist in supporting Year 11 and any Year 13 pupils to register and apply for apprenticeship vacancies whilst continuously informing your Year 10 and 12 students about apprenticeships.
